David Newhoff
Director of Products
David Newhoff is Director of Products at KnowledgePlex, Inc. (KPI). He leads the product development and management team that created KPI's statistical data and content management platforms. He drives the product cycle at KPI, working closely with large and medium-scale organizations to create new products, services and platform enhancements.
David has managed key projects for clients like Harvard's Kennedy School of Government (GIN), Enterprise Community Partners (ERD), New York University (NYCHANIS), Human Rights Watch (Council Portal) and numerous portals for the Fannie Mae Foundation. Recently, David lead the design and production of several custom DataPlace reports at Foreclosure-Response.org, a new website offering resources intended to help states and localities respond to the foreclosure crisis--a collaboration with the Center for Housing Policy, Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), and the Urban Institute.
In 2008, David was a panelist for the "Democratizing Data" track at the Community Indicators Consortium (CIC) Conference.
Prior to joining KPI, David worked for Vinq where he was instrumental in creating KPI’s own KnowledgePlex.org and DataPlace.org portals.
He has a solid history of designing and building cutting edge, large-scale, data-driven and high-traffic web applications. David’s diverse work experience also includes The Industry Standard and San Francisco Opera. When not at work he enjoys sailing, soccer, music and cooking.
